Rates: I believe in open disclosure and my website will always show my current session rates. These rates have not changed in years and I strive to balance the value of my time and my work with the average rates in this area.
Payment: For Massage Therapy, payment is due by the end of your Session. Your session can be paid for in Cash or Credit Card at time of service, in advance by PayPal, or in advance by Gift Certificate (purchase online through links on my website).
Booking and Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made no less than 24 hours prior to your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for the full amount of the massage. No shows will be charged the full price of the service and will be allowed to rebook however full payment must be received before the appointment will be held. (Late cancellations due to emergencies will be assessed on a case by case basis)
Therapist Rescheduling: Occasionally I do have to cancel or reschedule appointments due to emergencies, illness or Babies! (I am also a Birth Doula). I will always strive to give you at least a 24 hour notice of the need to reschedule.
Gift Certificates + Packages + Series: Can be purchased directly through the website. These are instantly printable or sendable electronic Gift Certificates. Gift certificates are good for 1 year from the date of issue. If a gift certificate holder has to cancel a scheduled appointment, the above cancellation policy still applies and the dollar amount of the session will be deducted from the gift card. Packages and Series can also be purchased directly through me after your session
Intakes: Health Intake Forms will need to be completed at the time of service, so please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your first session.
What to expect: Upon your arrival we will go over your health information from your intake form and discuss your needs and goals for your session. All sessions are individualized and integrative to address these needs and goals. I will assess and make adjustments throughout the session and discuss these changes with you when/if necessary, either during or immediately after the session.
Know that you undress to your comfort level and will always be draped appropriately. I will always ask for informed consent. If there is an area you do not want me to work, please tell me before and/or during the session. Never be afraid to speak up during your session.
This is a SCENT FREE practice. Please be clean and as scent free as possible. I have respiratory allergies and want to be at optimal health to give you my all. If scents will be incorporated into any sessions, they will be discussed PRIOR to a session and consented to by both you and me.
I am just one massage therapist. I strive to answer your emails/texts/phone calls within 24 hours. Unfortunately, my response may not be sooner simply because I am working. This also means same day bookings can be very difficult. I usually require at least 24 hours notice because with less than 24 hours notice I either have appointments filled or are unable to fulfill appointment request because I have made some other arrangement for the day.
I am a professional NY and LA licensed massage therapist. I always want clients to feel safe during their session and know that they are in control in regards to work they may or may not be comfortable receiving. Boundaries are important and I expect the same level of respect and safety for myself from my clients. I provide therapeutic massage only. All discussions about what areas of the body will be massaged will be discussed prior to the the start of the session. Inappropriate behavior including adjusting draping after I have secured it, inappropriate touching, aggressive or intimidating behavior, and asking for sexual acts will end your session and possibly be reported to the appropriate authorities. I reserve the right to end the session at any time. If I feel uncomfortable in a session I will end the session or refuse service. You will still be responsible for payment in full.
