Dawn Welburn is an ordained interfaith/interspiritual minister; a clinical/intuitive massage therapist who holds licenses in NY (025007), LA (LA8410), and TX (MT134478); a full-spectrum birthworker & CBE student; a 200 hour registered yoga teacher; Traditional Chinese Medicine graduate student; and a creatrix of jewelry/poetry/art. Dawn is a certified perinatal massage therapist through MotherMassage®. They are certified by Amy Wright Glenn and The Institute for the Study of Birth, Breath and Death, to teach the courses Holding Space for Pregnancy Loss and Loving, Dying, and Letting Go, as well as facilitate Pregnancy Loss Support Groups. Dawn lives a path of self-discovery that involves reawakening, rediscovering, and reconnecting to herself and the world.  Helping others during their own self-discovery, holding space for each individual wherever they are right now, with all of the tools Dawn is learning along their own path, is her/their Ministry and service.

Dawn Welburn passionately believes that sharing and providing the power and multi-faceted experience of authentic, conscious, meaningful touch can truly change our World. She specializes in a variety of services for a full spectrum of people-centering LGBTQIA+ and marginalized persons- including those living with stress, chronic pain, terminal illnesses, domestic violence, mental illnesses, and chemical dependencies. Their work is completely individualized and integrative, combining both their clinical knowledge and intuitive abilities. Dawn is a graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy’s Clinical Massage Therapy program.  She has completed Birth Doula training with the world renowned birth educator and doula, Debra Pascali-Bonaro of Orgasmic Birth, and is currently working towards Birth/Bereavement Certifcation through StillBirthday, Full Spectrum Doula certification with BADT, and CBE certification with BADT. They are a graduate of the RajaHatha School of Yoga 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Amy Pearce-Hayden and Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Dawn has been an artist most of their life and creating sterling silver and genuine stone jewelry for over 18 years. She is a graduate of the One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in NYC and both their writing and poetry is an ever evolving spiritual practice and part of her ministry. In 2019, Dawn moved to Austin, Texas (stolen land of the Jumanos, Tonkawa, Coahuiltecan, and Comanche) to begin graduate studies at AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, working towards a MAc/DAc in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, with the intention to be of greater service to all those in need.

All of Dawn’s work and life is deeply grounded in the dismantling of boxes meant to oppress, manipulate, and control.
